Ford has just announced development of an all-new Police Interceptor, which is expected to exceed the existing Crown Victoria in durability, safety, and performance.
Due to be released in 2011, it will begin production seamlessly when the Crown Victoria is discontinued. Ford supplies 45,000 of the 60,000 police vehicles in the United States, making it the leader. The current Police Interceptor has been the leader because of its durability, low cost of repair and maintenance, and its level of performance.
