Bradenton Motorsports Park, home of NMRA's season opener, is underwater. Higher than average rainfall has caused the nearby Manatee River to crest, flooding many areas nearby. The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the area.
A motorcycle stunt wars event was being held at BMP this weekend. The event was rained out on Saturday, but continued on Sunday on a dry portion of the grounds. The water is expected to begin receding today.
