Join Kenny Brown and the SVT Cobra Mustang Club Celebrate the Club’s Tenth Anniversary at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) May 29-31, 2009
 Kenny Brown and the SVT Cobra Mustang Club (SCMC) will be celebrating the club's tenth anniversary on May 29-31, 2009, at the world class facility of Virginia International Raceway, located in Danville, VA for a three day driving event and Mustang & Ford car show.

 The upcoming 10th Anniversary Celebration at VIR event consists of three full days of open track (You can opt for one or two days on track if you like), a Mustang & Ford show, a Saturday evening banquet with noted automotive author and entertaining car guru, John Clor, and a celebration of the Mustang Indy Pace Car and guest, renown Mustang tuner and engineer, Kenny Brown.

As a participant, you have numerous choices of venues of which you may participate.  You can enter the car show, or run on track.  You can also do a "hyper-drive" where you take your pony car out on the track for one session for a small fee of $60.00.  You'll be in your vehicle at speed with an in-car instructor available.   

Kenny Brown will bring his show-stopping CSR-69 Mustang with the latest Mustang Street/Track GT-4 suspension to give rides for charity.  Pete Epple, Senior Associate Editor from Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, will be at wheel testing the new Kenny Brown GT-4 suspension and covering the event.

The Kenny Brown Speedworks Driving Experience plans to be in attendance with the official Ford “Arrive and Drive” race cars from the Mustang Challenge Series.  A few lucky participants will have the unique opportunity to rent the SpeedWorks Mustang Challenge race cars and participate in the Kenny Brown SpeedWorks Driving Experience.

“The Kenny Brown SpeedWorks Driving Experience is any true car guy’s dream come true,” said Kenny Brown.  “Just imagine showing up at the track to a race transporter with your  FR500C race-prepped car ready, professional crew waiting, complete with car engineer and driver coach with in-car camera and radios to record your dream– that’s the Kenny Brown SpeedWorks Driving Experience in a nut shell.”

About the event and SVT Cobra Mustang Club (SCMC)   The SCMC is an all SVT Mustang Cobra & Shelby GT 500 Club which was founded in 1999 and has grown to over 500 dues paying members.  The club does numerous events including on track events, drag days, dyno days, car shows and cruises.  Their events are open to all Mustangs and Fords and the on track events are open to any make or model.
