Ford Racing Performance Parts has been working on this, a new 2010 Pro Stock body for use in NHRA, IHRA and for sportsman racers.
The carbon fiber body (shown) is being fabricated by Don Ness at Ness Racecraft for use by racers wanting to compete in NHRA or IHRA Pro Stock. The body is still in the fabrication stages, but our sources at FRPP tell us that a more affordable fiberglass version will also be available. No, this doesn’t mean Ford is getting back into backing Pro Stock teams, but it does mean that Ford is showing an interest in something other than Funny Car.
