RIDEMAKERZ is introducing the 2010 Mustang so that it can be customized by anyone either in a SHOP or online at RIDEMAKERZ.COM, where kids from 6 to 106 build and customize modern day model cars and trucks known as RIDEZ. The 2010 Ford Mustang RIDE is 1:14th scale - about the size of a football - and puts down a 0-60 (feet) run in 5.3 seconds with its rear-wheel, battery-powered radio-control chassis or the manual free-wheel chassis powered by the forearm muscle of the customizer. The popular muscle car can be customized with unique rims, treads, side-pipes, hood scoops, spoilers and modified with several blown engine options so that kids, parents, and car enthusiast alike can build and trick out their ultimate Mustang.
“We are excited and proud to announce the release of our latest customizable RIDE, the 2010 Ford Mustang,” said RIDEMAKERZ ZEO Larry Andreini. “We know how excited Mustang fans are about the newest model, so we wanted to roll one out for them at about the same time they’ll be arriving at dealerships. We designed the RIDEMAKERZ Mustang with them in mind, so it mirrors the real thing, all the way down to the removal of the windshield washer dispensers.”
The RIDEMAKERZ 2010 Mustang is available at RIDEMAKERZ.COM and the 12 RIDEMAKERZ SHOPS nationwide. The base price for the RIDEMAKERZ Tidal Power Blue or Raven Scream Black Mustang is $26 and $29 for the Flamehawk Red. To commemorate the launch, RIDEMAKERZ will be offering limited editions of their RIDEMAKERZ 2010 Ford Mustang GT for $32 and, fittingly, only 2010 are available. Each model includes a stock body, stock free-wheel chassis with stock wheelz and treadz. Accessories for the Mustang start at $2 and are interchangeable with other RIDEMAKERZ RIDEZ. Remote control is an additional $25.
Anyone who purchases a Mustang (or any other RIDE) online or in a RIDEMAKERZ SHOP will receive a unique access code allowing them to race a replica of the Mustang around in the RIDEMAKERZ virtual experience, a fun and authentic place where dads and sons (or the car-loving daughter) play games, learn about cars and car culture and share together.
In addition to the Ford Mustang, RIDEMAKERZ offers over 40 different body styles and paint schemes. RIDEZ start at $10 and can be purchased online or in a RIDEMAKERZ SHOP. If purchased online, the RIDE is shipped unassembled with an ignition-shaped hex wrench, so the Customizer can have the RIDEMAKERZ experience at home.
