This past fall, records were destroyed at the 6th Annual Shakedown at Englishtown event as some of the best Outlaw Pro Mod, Nitrous Pro Mod, Outlaw 10.5, Heavy Street, and Outlaw Drag Radial competitors converged on the historic New Jersey drag strip.
Al Anabi Racing sponsored the event and it was a slugfest amongst the competitors. You can read about the historic event in an upcoming issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords (April 2009). The action was also captured by the film crews of Speed TV. You can catch the action in a two-part mini-series on the motorsport channel. The Lucas Oil On The Edge program will carry both programs.
Part 1 will highlight the Speedtech Pro Mod Nitrous presented by Western Beef and Lend America Pro Mod Blown presented by Oddy's Automotive categories on February 14, 2009 at 1:30PM.
Part 2 will showcase Precision Turbo Outlaw 10.5 presented by Pro Line Race Engines, K&K Precision Heavy Street presented by K&S Racecars, Pro Torque Converters Drag Radial presented by Big Daddy Performance and Western Beef 8.50 Index presented by Finelines Automotive on May 2, 2009. Broadcast time will be announced in April.
