Stainless Works unveils new line of turbo headers.
It is no secret that turbo installs are getting more popular every day. There are a few companies that manufacture complete systems and those are great, but there is still a number of enthusiasts who prefer to build their own systems. That way the turbo can mounted a special way and charge pipes run differently depending on the intercooler/aftercooler combination run.
The custom builds become tricky because making headers is far more involved than some of the other areas of a custom turbo kit. The cutting and measuring can get tedious and increase the fabrication cost or set your project back even further on the expected schedule. Enter Stainless Works and its new line of turbo headers.
I am very thrilled to see another player enter the field with turbo headers. These are just the headers and collectors and they face forward. From there, an enthusiast will need to build a cross-over pipe, add a wastegate, mount the turbo, and handle the rest of the cold-side piping. These headers are a great starting point for custom turbo applications.
Some other goodies that I suggest you add to your turbo kit are V-band clamps to connect the pipes. The V-band clamps help in high-boost applications and look totally cool when the system is finished. I don't know if Stainless Works sells V-band clamps but some sources for those products are DMC Racing and Wolfe Racecraft.
