Saying good bye to a friend.

Wow. That is all I can say as I sit in my office at MM&FF Command Central. I just learned of the passing of a great guy from the New Jersey Mustang scene and a man I have known for a long time. Ed Kowalczyk passed away last night from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Ed was always a beacon of fun at the races, first in the NMRA Hot Street class and most recently with his newly-built Outlaw 10.5 Mustang. He was one of the many characters who make this stuff fun and keep the nightlife going after the racing concludes.

God Speed, my friend. You will be missed.

2. I grew up with Ed's younger brother Tommy in our home town of Whitehouse, and just learned of this horrible news and the loss of a great person and a one of kind personality.Growing up I always looked up to this guy making him self known to always having the most bad ass cars or the fastest mustang around.A motorhead my self, I just always had A lot of respect for all the crazy off the hook *** he was doing with his cars.It was always about being the fastest and the best with him and his thing was mustangs.I sware he gave our whole town the mustang bug.Being 4 years younger I seen his friends driven them and by the time I was driven my freinds and I had mustangs but it always revolved around Eddie and always talked,"kowalczyk's"mustang pulls wheelies or his mustang looked so cool it was always something,and it got every one around him to want to do it to their cars .He probably should have been making commision by ford on the amount of mustangs purchsed in hunterdon county cause it always referred back him and everyone wanting to build their cars the same.He gave every body the mustang itch, but he was the one that really was commited to what he loved and he still holds the crown in our town and had a lot of followers for years.I accualy own his first bad ass mustang, 1986 GT 5.0,nitrous,w/351 v8.The car is exactly the way I got it from him back in 1992.Thats A long time ago and that car is still talked about.Its funny I still have it I just can't seem to get rid of it.It was a lot of fun and i always wanted it since the day i saw it.eddie just knew how to build his mustangs.Its sad he wont be with us but he deffinately wont be forgotten he's made a life time of noise here and i'm sure it wont stop here.To you Ed and your family GOD BLESS YOU ALL.From myself and my family and the whole Whitehouse crew, we are all truly sorry for your lose of Eddie and his father.Tommy we are all trying to reach out to you.email adamflayton@yahoo.com or just call any of your boys from Whitehouse we want to know how your doing love ya man. god bless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
