Tim Lynch and Steve Petty rented Atlanta Dragway today, along with other Pro Line Race Engine customers in preparation for action this weekend at Englishtown and the NMRA World Finals in Bowling Green, KY.
Lynch had some problems off the trailer, the team made the appropriate adjustments to compensate for it moving left. The car was involved in a little mishap at the ORSCA Huntsville event a week ago. Lynch scuffed the wall at 180-mph requiring some body repairs and a minor chassis fix. Lynch finished the day running a 6.58 at 225 mph.
Pro Line's big-cheese, Eric Dillard drove Todd Berry's true 10.5 Mustang LX to a best of 7.20 at 209 mph at 3,175-pounds. The Bell Chassisworks' built Mustang features a 598ci engine with Precision 91mm turbochargers. The team normally competes in Limited Street, which is essentially Outlaw 10.5 with 29x10.5 non-W tires and no wheelie bars.
