I got this e-mail from Turbo Horsepower’s Jim Napier late last week, and just couldn’t resist showing it you all of you out there in MM&FF cyberspace. While it isn’t a Mustang, a Ford small-block, specifically a 5.0-liter pushrod powerplant with over 200,000 miles on it, powers it. While a stroker 5.0 is in the works, Napier and the crew at Turbo Horsepower rigged up a rear mount twin turbo setup. With the twins, the car made 390 rear wheel horsepower and went 11.70’s. With the new motor, the car should go somewhere in the 9.70-second range. Don’t you love lightweight cars with sick power? I know I do! Check out the photos below, and give me an idea of some off the path projects your have or have embarked on in a previous time. Hit me up at frank.cicerale@sourceinterlink.com.
