Is there anything an iPhone cannot do? For the past year, we have been dazzled by the iPhone and the new generation of smart phones. It combines a touch screen with MP3 player, Internet surfing capabilities, e-mail service, video player, and of course a phone. We know, there are a lot of other phones out there with more functionability but none are more of a style statement than the iPhone.
To answer the question above, we just came across some wild software that can be uploaded into the iPhone. It is called Dynolicious. It is software that allows the iPhone (or iPod Touch) to turn itself into a performance evaluator. Thanks to internal components, Dynolicious software will measure 0-60 performance, 1/4-mile results, lateral G-forces, and estimate horsepower.
We have seen this technology used by G-Tech, a very popular and what seems to be an accurate way of measuring performance. It is a simple device that is attached to your front windshield and uses g-meters and accelerometers to measure the same performance. Dynolicious uses the iPhone (or iPod Touch) to accomplish the same thing.
If you have an iPhone, just head over the company's site to see what they have to offer. http://www.dynolicious.com/
You can download the software at Apple APP Store.
