I am sitting in the media room at Route 66 Raceway for the 3rd Annual Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing. The fine folks at Pro Media, parent company of both NMCA and NMRA racing circuits combine both series for a wild weekend of racing. If you are in driving distance of this event, GET HERE! I showed up yesterday to packed pits. Over 270 race cars checked in Thursday, just 5 down from last year's wild event. That number is only Pro-Tree racing entries, no bracket racing. Race officials are telling us that number is over 300 cars as of this morning with overnight entries and they haven't even brought in any True Street cars yet. The True Street portion of the event looks to be anywhere from 75-100 entries. We hope to see you out here!
