While our hometown area near Englishtown, New Jersey is a mecca for Mustangs and other fast Fords, we enjoy getting out there and seeing the rest of the country and its fleet of Ford iron. With that comes times of intense travel, and this is one of those times. Last week I hit the Strip in world famous Las Vegas for a technology meeting with Ford and to see the new Flex that will be hitting showrooms soon. It is a cool vehicle with many interesting design features. Some models will have a built-in fridge, and we hear a twin-turbo Ecoboost will follow soon after. I also attended the NHRA national and had a great sit-down with the gang from Ford Racing, as well as John Force, Ashley Force and Robert Hight. We also toured the Shelby plant and met with the man himself. But that was last week. Right now it's 5:00 am and I'm sitting in LAX getting ready to board a flight back to NJ. I was on the left coast for the Fab Fords Forever show at Knotts Berry Farm and there were over 1,000 Mustangs alone! Just one week from now I'll be airbore once more, heading to Utah to Drive the GT500KR. Of course I'll will let you kow how that goes and the following week I'll be in Atlanta for the first race of the FR500S Mustang.
