We've installed the full cage with a Funny Car-style roll cage inside along with many of the suspension parts, including the wheels and tires. In case you missed the introduction a few issues ago in MM&FF, the Shelby will compete in NHRA Super Stock and we're hoping for low 9s or even 8s at about 150 mph. JDM Engineering is preparing the 5.4 blown engine and it will be backed by a custom dual-disc clutch from Advanced Clutches along with a G-Force 5-speed transmission and a Fast Forward Race Cars 9-inch. Look for a detailed article on the suspension and rear in the July issue of MM&FF.
